The FLEXEL® 3D Bag

FORM FOLLOWS FUNCTION That is the essential idea behind the development of the FLEXEL 3-D Bioprocessing Bag.

Unlike other processing bags which were originally developed for other industries and later adapted for biopharmaceutical applications, the FLEXEL 3-D bag was designed specifically and exclusively for sterile fluid processing.

The FLEXEL 3D Modular System

The FLEXEL 3D Modular System gives you the ability to design your own fluid processing system. You have the option of incorporating the complete system immediately, or starting with just the base container and adding other components later.

1 Modular Components
    The Base Container Stainless steel Palletank 200L, 500L, and 1000L

2 Stacking Kit
    Four stacking corners let you maximize storage space.
    (Containers can be stacked 3-high)

3A Bottom Port (Optional)

3B Bottom Gate
      Open/close for passage of large bore tubing, tri-clamps, and filters

4 Removable Tray
    For containment of tubing, filters and other accessories

5 Dolly - For easy and secure mobility

6 Secondary Pallet-Base - For maneuverability when using bottom port

7 Palletank Lid - Protects against light and dust

The Palletank Shipping Kit

• A unique security system which is attached to the Palletank prior to shipping.
• Acts as a compression unit to secure filled bag firmly in place while in transit.

Components consist of:
• FOAM PAD which is placed directly on top of filled bag.
• STEEL PLATE which lays on top of foam pad. (Pad and plate have openings
    through which tubing is pulled up and away from bag)
• PORT LOCKS (on steel plate) which, when closed, hold tubing in place.
• HOLDING RODS (2), with retractable ends which are fitted into slots below
    rim of Palletank. Rods hold compression screws (4), which extend down
    to steel plate. Prior to shipping, screw handles are turned as tightly
    as possible to secure steel plate and foam against bag.
• PALLETANK LID can be securely locked into place prior to shipping.
